TOS Review Terrestria Chronicles

If your kids enjoy allegory stories filled with adventure and set in the time of kings and castles, then they'll enjoy the latest product reviewed  by the TOS Crew - The Terrestria Chronicles written by Ed Dunlop.  These books are written to challenge your child to love the Lord and live in a way that honors Him. The focus of the books is always on God.

Appropriate for kids ten and older, there are seven books in the series, and we received books six and seven, The Golden Lamp and The Great War. The books don't need to be read in order to understand and appreciate the storyline.

Jake read both books in one sitting each - admittedly he is a very fast reader. They reminded him of a popular books-to-movie allegory series, and he could see how a younger child would enjoy them. Bill read a few chapters of The Great War and it reminded him of the book of Revelation. He agreed that the series would be interesting to younger readers.

Visit the website to read free e-books and download coloring sheets. There is also a clear presentation of the gospel that your child can read - though I would recommend parental supervision for the section of the website titled "Why Reach Children."

The books are available for $7.99 each or $39.99 for the set. There is also a spiral bound teacher's guide that covers all seven books in the series. It is designed to facilitate discussion between parents and children as they consider the allegorical message of the books. It's available for $5.99.

Be sure to read the reviews written by other members of the TOS Crew.

*I was given these products for free so that I may give my opinion. No other compensation was made.
