Our small group from church had its Christmas party tonight. It was Bill's turn to go - we take turns going to meetings, etc since our peeps are too young to stay home alone - so I made the dessert and he gets to go eat all the yummy fattening goodies.
I thought it would be funny to make a snowman cake. I thought it would be even funnier to make it out of red velvet cake. You know like "aaaah, who cut a piece of me off?! I'm bleeding! "
I was a little nervous. Some people don't laugh at weird humor, but Bill emailed me a couple of pictures letting me know that he was well received. whew!
I didn't take a 'before' shot, but his head was attached to his body when he left the house
It's really nothing personal against Frosty. I happen to love the song and think the cartoon is a hoot. However, I don't love snow or cold at.all. So I look at it more as a commentary on my feelings towards those things and not a sweet cartoon character.
Maybe my friends were getting a little too into it??
