Pictogram Puzzle for You

I love word puzzles and games, and I thought it might be fun to play a word game for today's post.

First, here's our warm up (that I totally stole from these nice folks - http://www.fun-with-words.com/rebus_puzzles.html)

Stuck? That's ok, the answer is at the bottom of this post. :D

I mentioned in my course marshalling recap on Saturday that I had sudden, sharp pain in the top of my foot while running Saturday morning, and that I logged an additonal 2+ miles of walking on that foot before I could put it up and ice it, and that I could barely walk Saturday evening.

It still hurt like crazy come Monday so I made an appt to see the dr on Tuesday. He sent me for xrays, and just left a message letting me know the good news.

So here's your pictogram of my latest ith-ue

Did you guess stress fracture? Great job!!

The xray was clear which was expected, but my symptoms meet the criteria of a stress fx so he's comfortable calling it that w/o an MRI. Whatever works for you, dude.

So no running until it doesn't hurt, which is no sweat because I can hardly walk. I can't bend my foot to toe off without a lot of pain so I'm hobbling around trying to keep my foot flat. On Tuesday he mentioned the possible need for crutches or a boot, but I'm a cheapskate and didn't ask about them.

BUT

My hip flexor muscle in my right hip - the one I strained in Dec. causing the domino effect to my ITBS - is not happy, and I've been having painful spasms in it since last night.

Would a boot or crutches hurt or help my ridiculous hip? I don't know, and I'd love to hear your thoughts!

**The answer to the first puzzle is:  Up To A Point...there are two of them, get it? those tricky tricksters!

I'll admit, I didn't get either of them.... Maybe it is just too early in the morning.

SF....ugh! Get better soon,my dear! As far as crutches and boots, I do not believe it will help the hip, so maybe where/use it sparingly?!?!

UGH! So sorry about the stress fracture. Hope you're feeling a bit better today.

And I had NO CLUE what that puzzle was!
