Monday night was Bark in the Park so we headed out to the ballgame with our friends Mr and Mrs P and their doggie, Topper (who is a thousand times better behaved than Blu could ever hope to be)
Shane likes Baseball Dog (Keyote) but this was a little close for his comfort. Of course Ella knows only friends so she was as happy as a clam
Jake was selected for a trivia question about agriculture. Mr P whispered the answer to him and he won this silly cow hat. It's very timely because next week is Cow Appreciation Day at Chick-Fil-A - dress like a cow and get a free meal. Starving college students can't pass up such good deals.
As part of their kids' club benefits the kids get a free cotton candy. Here's Shane eating it using the whole body, shove it in your face approach.
The game went into extra innings and the Keys lost by one. It was so late that we didn't stay to run the bases. The kids were disappointed, but they were also asleep before we left the parking lot.
