Hank's First Track Meet

Yesterday was Hank's first track meet and our team hosted it. That meant the parents got to do all the timing and measuring. That also meant that Hank was on his own the entire day so he chose to run like a maniac with his friends in the hot sun before his races.  Even though he didn't come in the top 3, he had a great time and slept in his grungy shirt.

Here's the team
Warming up. We're working on that coordination. :)
He got a side cramp while running his warm up

He ran the 100 and 200, both in lane 7 so his finish line picture for both races look exactly the same. Here's one of them.
He also did the long jump but has no idea how to do it. He just likes running and hopping into the sand so that's what he does for now. So far he still really enjoys track, and I hope it continues so he can run shorter races with me.
