McGuffey Readers, Longs Language, Pinneo's Grammar, Ray's Arthimetic, Thalheimer's Histories. As with all products, there are pros and cons. Some of the cons are that the books are scanned as black and white even though some of the lessons (mostly for the younger grades) involve identifying colors. Obviously, you can print these pages and color them in yourself or have your child color them. Some of the illustrations scanned rather dark and are difficult to discern, and the italics in some of the lessons can be difficult to read.
On the plus side, you can choose to read these books on your computer or just print the pages you need. I particularly enjoyed the simplicity of the lessons. They aren't boring, fill in the blank workbooks but read much like stories. And of course we can't overlook that fact that purchasing these books individually- if you could find them all and in good condition - would be much more expensive than $159.
