They have an online junior ranger program where the kids can pretend to be a Red Cross volunteer for a day and if you mail your completion certificate, or bring it with you when you visit, they give the kids a junior ranger certificate and badge.
They each got their arm wrapped up with a muslin cloth like nurses used to use.
Then we headed over to Glen Echo Park, but I'll have to tell you about that another time...
