Gettysburg

The Visitor's Center at Gettysburg Battlefield is open so we decided to swing by and check it out.

It's very pretty and very big- almost as big as the one at Williamsburg. The down side is that you have to pay to go in the museum. They also have a movie - I don't think it's IMax - but you have to pay for that too so we didn't go to either.

We did go through their very large bookstore though. After spending a bundle at Boyd's I had to restrain myself. We're planning to go back in the spring for a field trip so I'll save my pennies and go crazy then.

If you're in the area and have the time, it is definitely worth a visit.
