Each of the last 7 weeks has brought something new be it injury, schedule change or just the busy-ness of life. And this week was no different. So if nothing else, I've learned more about being flexible. :)
Remember the food journal? Well, I didn't. I spent 4 days in Florida last week and did not write down one single thing that I ate. I'll pick that up again on Monday though because it did make me think twice before eating something (not that I didn't eat it, but I did think about it first). :)
I was very grateful that I was able to run twice while I was in Florida. My favorite run was Monday when I ran 4 miles around Marco Island, Florida. Outside. With no snow anywhere in sight (it was misting and overcast, but it wasn't below freezing or snowing!). It felt so wonderful!
I woke up Tuesday morning with a stuffy nose that became a head cold so I haven't felt like strength training. I managed to get two more runs in this week and am scheduled to run 6 miles tomorrow so we'll see. It's hard to run when my head feels like a brick, but I've already lost 3 weeks of training to my ankle so I'm slogging forward.
Maybe next week will be boring with no new surprises. I guess I'll have to wait and see. :)

O I could use the break to Florida. Snowed out over here. ;) Your trip I hope was relaxing and so you left your journal. You deserved a break. Lol! We all do here and there so that is ok. Sounds like your on the right track. Hang in there. Have a great weekend! :)
Running in Florida sounds like heaven! Ahh...sunshine! :)
But you poor thing, getting sick like that. I hate it when that happens. It's one thing to be injured but then sick on top of it...? Ugh. Hope you feel better soon! Get some (more) rest. :)
Florida! You lucky girl! It's still snowy-white here.
I hope you feel better soon and that your week will be full of pleasant surprises...that's even better than boring. :)
