Bird Watching

Here they are looking for a Northern Cardinal. We have a male and female who have claimed our yard as their territory. Hank likes them because they're easy to spot and they have a "stout" beak. Hank learned that stout means strong so I think he imagines they can beat up bad guys with their beaks.


Introducing Bujol and Serena Machen. They're brother and sister and Ella's babies. She takes very good care of them...always shushing us when they're sleeping. She even shared her lunch wiht them.

I have no idea where she comes up with her names, but she never chooses something like Bob or Alex.
