Bear Springs to White Rock and back again

Another AT hiking adventure! Today we took advantage of the stunningly gorgeous day by hiking with friends. This hike was a little tougher than some of our past hikes, but the kids met the challenge with gusto.

We took a different trail back and missed a turn so we ended up bushwhacking for about 10 minutes. The kids were real troopers and didn't get upset or freak out in the least. Of course it probably helped that the grown ups were cool about it.

Our friend commented that Ella and her friend should take up trail running...they left the boys in the dirt while laughing and running. Of course the boys were busy sword fighting and stalking bad guys with their hiking sticks.

3.1 miles total and we had a great time. I can't wait to get on that section of trail again.
